Special baggage considerations

• You can only buy special luggage in person at the airport. Consider this extra time on the day of your trip.
• Any item that exceeds 45 kg., Regardless of its measurements, may not be transported as baggage. You can ask us about the transport service as cargo through LATAM Cargo.
• Depending on local legislation, on flights with origin or destination in Argentina, Aruba, Europe or Oceania, you can only carry up to 32 kg. per piece. The same rule is valid for flights connecting with Air Canada, British Airways, Iberia or Qantas.
• Black Signature, Black and Platinum members will be able to use the benefit of an additional piece transporting a special baggage free of charge.
• If you travel in Premium Economy or Premium Business you can replace the amount of pieces included in your checked baggage for a special baggage, of according to the ticket purchased. Does not apply to additional baggage purchased or luggage related to the benefits of the LATAM Pass member category and / or Bank cards.
• Bank cards do not have benefits associated with special luggage.
